Calendar
See your day, week or month, and put appointments and tasks where they belong.
The calendar puts your appointments on a time grid — one day, a whole week or a month at a time. You can draw a meeting straight onto the grid, invite people and watch their answers come in, let an appointment repeat, and show your colleagues' calendars and your own dated tasks next to your entries.
Open the calendar from Appointments in the menu.
Day, week and month
Three ways of looking at the same appointments: one day in detail, a whole week side by side, or a month at a glance.
How to use it
- Click Appointments in the main menu. The calendar opens — the first time on the current week — and the Day, Week and Month tabs take the place of the list and board tabs.
- Click Day, Week or Month to change how much time the grid shows. The grid is redrawn, the date title changes with it, and the entries for the new period are loaded.
- In the week view, click 5 or 7 next to the tabs to draw the week with five columns (working days) or with all seven.
Good to know: the day and week grids are laid out around the working day, from 7 in the morning to 8 in the evening. The hours outside it are still there, drawn squeezed together at the top and bottom. Each column of the week is headed by its weekday, its day number — today in a coloured badge — and the number of appointments that day holds.

Moving through dates
Getting to the right period without losing your place.
How to use it
- Click the left or right arrow next to the date title. The calendar moves by one day, one week or one month — whichever view is open — and reloads its entries.
- Click Today, just left of the Day / Week / Month tabs, to come back to the current date.
- Click a day in the small month calendar in the left-hand column to jump straight there. The grid moves to that day, that day's week or that day's month, and the small calendar highlights the period you are looking at.
Good to know: you can also swipe sideways across the grid to step forwards and backwards. The title over the grid always says where you are — today, tomorrow, this week, next week or the month name — and in the week view it carries the week number as well.

Appointments
Meetings drawn where they actually happen. An entry carries its title, its start and end time, the round pictures of everyone on it and, once invitations have gone out, a short summary of who has answered.
How to use it
- To create a meeting at a particular time, press on the grid at the start time and drag down to the end time. The appointment appears there and its form opens — in the side panel if that is open, otherwise in a small window next to the grid — with the cursor already in the title field. What you type shows on the entry as you type it.
- To start from scratch instead, click New appointment in the bar at the top of the screen. An empty appointment opens in the side panel, ready for a title, dates, times and people.
- Double-click an entry to open it with all its details.
- Drag an entry to another time or day, or drag its edge, to change when it starts and ends. The new times are saved straight away.
- Right-click an entry and choose Delete to remove the appointment.
Good to know: only the people on an entry — and administrators — can move it. If somebody else drags it, it snaps back to where it was. An appointment that carries a link or a location shows a small button on its entry; double-click that button to open it in your web browser. An appointment without a start date is never drawn on the grid.

All-day entries
Entries that have no time of their own — whole-day events and birthdays — sit in a band above the hours instead of inside the day.
How to use it
- Open an appointment and tick Allday event. The two time pickers disappear, the appointment starts at midnight, and it moves into the band above the hours.
- When a day shows a +n more chip in that band, click it. A small window lists every all-day entry of that day, and clicking a row opens the entry behind it.
Good to know: a day shows up to three all-day entries. Beyond that it keeps the first two and collapses the rest into the +n more chip, so the band never eats the whole grid.

Invitations
Ask people to a meeting and see who is coming.
How to use it
- Open the appointment and add the people to the Invitees field, then save. Each of them is listed with their answer next to their name, their picture shows on the calendar entry, and the entry gains a compact tally of how many have accepted, answered tentatively, declined or not answered yet.
- When you have been invited to an appointment, open it and click Accept, Tentative or Decline in the Your response row. Your answer is sent and shown next to your name.
Good to know: until you have accepted, the appointment is drawn in a lighter, unanswered style on your own calendar. If an invitation arrives while you are working, the appointment opens by itself so you can answer it right away.

Repeating appointments
A meeting that comes back on a fixed rhythm.
How to use it
- Open the appointment and click Add recurrence.
- Under Repeats, choose Daily, Weekly, Monthly or Yearly.
- If the series should stop, set a date under Ends on. Leave it empty to let it run on.
- To turn the repetition off again, click the small cross next to the repeat settings.

The team's calendars
Your colleagues' appointments on the same grid as your own, each person in their own colour, so a slot that is free for everybody is easy to spot.
How to use it
- Open the Team menu above the calendar.
- Tick the people whose calendars you want to see. The grid redraws with their entries in their own colours.
Good to know: unticking everybody falls back to your own calendar — the grid is never left empty because of this menu.

Invitations, Tasks in the calendar
Tasks in the calendar
Tasks that carry a date are drawn next to the appointments, in their own light blue style, so a day's meetings and a day's work can be planned together.
How to use it
- Open the Tasks & appointments menu above the calendar.
- Tick or untick Tasks and Appointments. The grid reloads with only what is ticked, and the menu's own label tells you what is currently on.
Good to know: one of the two kinds always stays ticked, so the calendar is never blank by accident. A task appears in the column of the person it is assigned to, and a task without a date never reaches the grid — it stays in the task list. Tasks are not counted in the appointment numbers shown in the week headers.
